Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School Opens a New Branch in Stratford

This school, which recently won Community Business 2024 for the London Chamber of Commerce and Social Enterprise for the Great British Businesswoman Awards, will open its doors to 7–16-year-olds on Friday, April 26th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chobham Academy. Following that, potential students will have the opportunity to try out Taster Days throughout May and June.

Students will follow a timetable of Drama, Singing, Dance and Film all taught by top industry professionals, as well as explore other related skills such as set, costume, make-up, and stage management.

Thanks to the associated theatrical agency, many current and past students have won leading roles on TV, Film, and the West End stage. Success stories include Belinda Owusu (5 years as Libby Fox in EastEnders), Orla Hill (Song for Marion and Swallows & Amazons), Tahj Miles (Simba in the West End’s The Lion King, Nipper in Oliver!, and Marlon in Death in Paradise), and Jermain Jackman, who won The Voice UK 2014 shortly after winning Fiorentini’s Got Talent.

However, the school’s main priority is to ensure all students increase in confidence, self-esteem, and transferable life skills. The school’s ethos is to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment for all young people to creatively express themselves.

The Fiorentini School has a 23-year track record for excellence, and although it has branches in Hackney, Docklands, Greenwich, and Camden, it is not a franchise but remains an independent stage school able to offer its students and families dedicated one-to-one support when needed.
