Get Involved

There are a number of ways that you can get involved with the Fiorentini Foundation and give back to the local community.

These include:

  • Fundraise with us! Past fundraising events that have been put on by individuals to support the Fiorentini Foundation range from smaller events like cake sales and car washes to larger events like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and running the London Marathon! The impact of this support is invaluable to our organisation and no amount of help is too small.

If you are taking part in an event and would like to raise money for the Fiorentini Foundation, we use a platform called Enthuse which makes it easy to fundraise for us. If you would prefer to use another fundraising platform to raise money for the Fiorentini Foundation we certainly won’t turn it down! Please do get in touch if you need help setting up your fundraiser.

Alternatively why not sign up to an event organised by the Fiorentini Foundation.

However you aim to fundraise, please get in touch and let us know about your plans. We can help with publicity and send you relevant information. Email us at

Facebook Birthdays

  • Did you know you can set up a Birthday Fundraiser on your Facebook page with hardly any effort and absolutely no cost to you? All you need to do is head to the fundraising page on Facebook and select ‘Fiorentini Foundation’ as your chosen charity, it even comes pre-written with a little about our cause! Click ‘select’ and the birthday fundraiser is set. It helps if you use the ‘invite’ button, select your friends and express that this charity is important to you and we are sure you can raise a few pennies. No amount is too small and even more importantly, you are spreading the word about the Foundation.

Easy Fundraising

  • Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Fiorentini Foundation with easyfundraising?

There are over 4,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.

All you need to do is:

    1. Click here and join for free.

    2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.

    3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to Fiorentini Foundation at no extra cost to you whatsoever!

Or consider downloading the easyfundraising browser plugin, which will show you a popup reminder whenever you’re shopping with a participating website.

There are no catches or hidden charges and Fiorentini Foundation will be really grateful for your donations.

    Thank you for your support.

  • Another way you can support the Fiorentini Foundation with your online purchases is by shopping through AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile offers exactly the same products and prices as the regular Amazon website. The only difference is that, when you use AmazonSmile, Amazon donates 0.5% of the net price (that excludes VAT and shipping costs) of eligible products to the charity of your choice. There’s no charge to yourself or to the charity, so everybody wins!

    How does it work?

    1. Go to and log in with your regular Amazon account, or set up a new account if you don’t have one already.

    2. Select the Fiorentini Foundation as your chosen charity. You only need to do this once.

    3. Remember to use rather than the regular Amazon website in order for your purchases to count. You can consider downloading a browser plugin that automatically redirects you to AmazonSmile whenever you navigate to Amazon.

    4. Do your shopping as you normally would, and you will automatically donate to the Fiorentini Foundation!

Thank you very much for your support.

Become a Trustee

  • We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic, talented and committed people that endorse our message to join our board of trustees. We are particularly seeking those with skills that would support our small charity, whether that be in fundraising, law, education, business management etc. We are seeking those that would enable us to make sure our organisation goes above and beyond.

We highly value our trustees as the ‘cogs behind the machine’, to help us achieve our aims and charitable objectives and decide the overall direction of our charity.

    Benefits of becoming a Trustee:

Whether you want to meet new people, add volunteering and philanthropic endeavours to your C.V., or give something back, there are a vast array of benefits to becoming a trustee.

Not only do our trustees play a huge role in shaping the futures of generations to come, they also get to put their professional skills to work and boost their confidence in public speaking and leadership. Becoming a Trustee means you will gain invaluable tools and insights first-hand from other members of the board whilst discovering what happens behind-the-scenes in the management and upkeep of a charity.

Sponsor a child

  • Support a child’s dream! We encourage local businesses and donors to sponsor individual students to further their artistic education. It costs on average £1050 per child per year to attend the Anna Fiorentini School. When you sponsor a child you’ll be able to watch as their confidence is nurtured and see them flourish every step of the way!

You could have the scholarship named after you or your company. We encourage maintaining a relationship between the child and sponsor through regular progress reports, letters and updates from the child, as well as through a photo and profile. Developing new levels of confidence and artistic talent through the Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School has proven to be a vital experience for these children. This opportunity would not be possible without the subsidies and scholarships made by outside sponsors.

Sponsor a show

  • Help us put on a truly memorable and life-changing performance! We believe that children grow and develop as both artists and members of society if they are given the chance to perform in front of live audiences. Whilst we strive to keep these dreams and opportunities alive for our students, we rely greatly on external funding. Since the cost of putting on a large-scale public performance is roughly £15,000, we are always open to financial support. There are a range of ways that companies can sponsor a whole show or a particular aspect, (perhaps microphones or lighting equipment, for example). If you are interested in finding out more about our Silver, Gold and Platinum opportunities please e-mail and help us create a performance that will propel children towards their dream.

Hire or even Sponsor our Performance Troupe

  • The Anna Fiorentini Performance Troupe is the face of the school and its charity. Made up of talented students, these performers provide entertainment for hospitals, care homes, homes for the elderly as well as corporate and fundraising events.

Unfortunately, recent funding cuts have dramatically affected the arts which has directly impacted our Performance Troupe. To continue the mission of growing as performers whilst contributing to local neighbourhoods, this kids Performance Troupe now must raise an annual fund of £7000. To do so, we rely on the generous donations of the community and partnerships with local companies. If you are interested in either hiring our Troupe or finding out about our Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsorship packages please e-mail

Will Legacy

  • Nobody likes talking about the inevitable. But wouldn’t it be amazing if you were able to have a lasting impact and contribute to the growth of a small charity which inspires and galvanizes the dreams of children?

Due to the fact we are a small charity, every single penny we receive is incredibly important and strictly allocated towards our cause. No matter how big, or small your donation, you can trust that every single penny will positively impact the life of a child who so desperately needs inspirational escapism from the arts.

In 2017, Henry Cummings passed away at the young age of 45 from terminal cancer. Henry was Anna Fiorentini’s husband’s best friend. Anna made a pledge to Henry that she would give a free place to a child suffering from, or affected by, cancer every year. Even though this was her mission, she has now superseded Henry’s wishes and helped many, many more children. She tries to raise more money each year so that even more children suffering in this way can benefit. This is called the Henry Cummings Fund. It brought tears to Henry’s eyes to know that his name would live on in such a beneficial way.
