Rebecca Dyer has been performing from a very young age and she appeared in her first professional show at the age of 7, the UK Tour of Annie. She attended Bird College where she gained a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Since graduating, Rebecca has performed as a featured dancer in the Beauty and the Beast Pantomime at Hartlepool’s Town Hall Theatre, as a dancer in Elton John’s Bennie and the Jets official music video, she also appeared in Viewpoint which recently aired for ITV.

In this upbeat and fun dance class for adults, you can expect to work on a hybrid of show tunes all designed to get your feet moving and heart pumping.

Improve your dancing skills

Our top industry professionals will help you work through fun and upbeat routines from a variety of much loved musicals. You’ll develop techniques to help you storytell through dance in these dance lessons in London. Term by term these dance classes will take you through the technique of iconic musical styles inspired by legends including Bob Fosse, Gene Kelly, and Jerome Robbins.

For this Musical Theatre Dance course, you don’t need to be the best dancer, we are just looking for a readiness to learn, energy and passion. No experience is necessary! Just the willingness to have fun and give it a go. All ages over 18 are welcome.

  • WEEK ONE: Meet and Greet, Warm up, Technical Focus: Circular spring and spring ball changes. Dancing Through Life (Wicked)
  • WEEK TWO: Warm up, Technical Focus: Kick sequence. Dancing Through Life (Wicked)
  • WEEK THREE: Warm up, Technical focus: Leap sequence. Flashdance
  • WEEK FOUR: Warm up, Technical focus: Leap and kick sequence. Flashdance
  • WEEK FIVE: Warm up, Technical focus: Pirouette preparation. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Mary Poppins)
  • WEEK SIX: Warm up, Technical focus: Pirouettes. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Mary Poppins)
  • WEEK SEVEN: Warm up, Technical focus: Chene turns and step turn steps. Whipped into Shape (Legally Blonde)
