BRANDON SUTHERLAND Brandon has been dancing, choreographing and acting from a very young age, choreographing his first show at the age of 14 for the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond. He has obtained a degree in Dance Choreography and in 2022 set up his own dance company, ‘Sutherland Dance’. Since graduating, Brandon has gone on to choreograph and perform for Stage, TV and Film, as well as a successful career in dance teaching across venues around London.
NELLIE COSS Nellie trained as a classical musician, before attending Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance to study Actor-Musicianship. From here, she has been working as a musical director and vocal coach, specialising in vocal technique through the Estill pedagogy, and acting through song. As well as a portfolio career, Nellie teaches both LAMDA and music exams to her students, maintaining a 100% pass rate. Recently, Nellie worked as AMD and played woodwind/reeds on a piece of new writing that premiered at the Southwark Playhouse in Elephant and Castle. Sign up for our winter term for a chance to perform in our annual Stage & the City Charity Showcase taking place on 30th November at The Mulberry Theatre UTC. Over the 11-week course, you will work with Stage & the City’s experienced team who will guide you through a selection of musical theatre numbers, working on the essential components of musical theatre.
We understand you may be a bit nervous if this is your first time, but classes are taught in a fun and supportive environment. Most of the singing and dancing will be done as a group but there are opportunities for solos! If Tuesdays in Camden don’t work for you, we suggest you look at our Musical Theatre Beginners course which takes place on a Wednesday evening in Canada Water. Or you may even consider auditioning for our Musical Theatre Troupe.
