Combining Contemporary and Jazz, with influences from ballet and world fusion styles. These classes are dynamic, expressive and lyrical.
You will work on precision in foot work, complimented with expressive and fluid upper body and arms. Using music, you’ll explore dynamics and emotive movement. You will cover a range of songs from something more dreamy like ‘Runaway’ by Aurora or soulful like Nina Simone or Adele. The class will begin with an extended warm up (20 mins) where we cover technical elements needed for the class and then a routine (40 mins) which will change every 3 to 4 weeks.
The aim is to have fun, build strength and flexibility, develop musicality, gain confidence, express yourself through movement.
This high-octane, fun-packed course will have you moving and finding your rhythm whilst surrounded by a brand-new group of friends! Get ready to build confidence, develop technique and change your second left shoe to a right!
Our teacher will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy every minute of this course, which will give you a great workout as well as enhancing your dance technique and emotional exploration.
