It’s October, and that can only mean one thing – spooky season is upon us. To celebrate the spookiest time of the year, we’ve rounded up our favourite spooky shows in London!

Check out our other blog: Five Animated Films we’d like to see as a West End Musical!

Take a look at our list below:

Wicked | Apollo Victoria Theatre

What can be more spooky than a trip to see the Wicked Witch of the West. This magical production has been casting its spell on audiences for 15 years and is the 9th longest-running West End musical of all time.

The Woman in Black | The Fortune Theatre

A West End classic, this acclaimed ghost story is sure to terrorise its audience. Now celebrating three decades in the West End, this spine-chilling production is a must-watch for any horror fans.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child | Palace Theatre

This critically acclaimed and spell-binding play is presented in two parts, full of technical magic effects that will amaze audiences. For fans of Harry Potter, or fans of magic, this spooktacular play is an amazing experience.

The Phantom of the Opera | Her Majesty’s Theatre

Set to Lloyd-Webber’s epic score, this beautifully dark tale of an Opera house haunted by a tormented Phantom is a favourite amongst musical theatre fans. With jaw-dropping spooky scenery and breath-taking special effects, this tragic love story is magically brought to life.

Hamlet | Young Vic

Okay, maybe this one’s not that scary. But it does have a ghost in it! This highly-anticipated production of Shakespeare’s great tragedy, with Cush Jumbo starring as a new kind of Hamlet has garnered rave reviews and is running until November.
